We booked a room for four in October for Christmas, two months ahead, and chose the pay-later option. Then, just one week before we were due to travel, they told us there was a safety issue and asked us to cancel. Finding a well-located hotel at a reasonable price during the festive season that late would have been difficult. It looked to us like they wanted to raise the Christmas price and back out of the rate we booked two months earlier. It felt like a scam, and I regret trusting this hotel. We would have been better off booking somewhere else from the start. Beware of this trick.

The fried chicken at the cafe downstairs was delicious, and it was easy to walk to Zepp KL, Lalaport, and Hang Tuah MRT Station. I stayed here for a visit to Zepp KL. Everything else was nice, but the refrigerator in my room didn’t work properly. The room also wasn’t soundproof, so I could hear loud noise and people shouting outside.

It's close to LaLapot Mall, but the air conditioning and TV both had problems, and I couldn't watch TV programs properly. The towels were old, and the table and cupboard were dirty. It was also hard to get a phone signal inside the room.

The location worked well for our destinations, and the hotel was good value. We stayed two nights. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. We made a last-minute booking and arrived after 2 a.m., and reception was still there to check us in. When we left for lunch after checkout, they were happy to hold our bags for us.
