I stayed for three months in a spacious loft apartment with one bedroom, two bathrooms, a large living area, and a big kitchen. My favorite part was the balcony view, you could see the whole city. The apartment connects to the mall, so with all the nearby food options, you barely need to go out. The guards were very friendly, and I often saw them meeting in formation. Entry to the apartment required a code, which I thought was great and helped me feel secure from being stalked or bothered. The downside was the elevators: despite having several, some were down for maintenance a few times, leaving very long waits.

Airbnb reviewed what happened and approved a full refund because we cancelled about an hour after booking, before the stay began. We never checked in, but the host still left us a bad review, which Airbnb later found retaliatory and removed. The whole thing was far more confrontational than a simple cancellation should have been, and I’d urge people to think carefully before booking with Banana Home property management. We had chosen the property because the Airbnb listing clearly showed a kitchen and stove, since we planned to cook. Soon after booking, the host said cooking wasn’t allowed. That contradiction, along with concerning reviews about the location, led us to ask to cancel within roughly an hour. The host refused and told us to take it up with Airbnb. They twisted our words, falsely accused us of being violent, and threatened to call the police. It was completely uncalled for and unprofessional.

The unit is spacious and secure, and the mall is in the same building with a train station connected to it, so getting around is convenient. It’s a good option for a short or long stay, especially for families, couples, or friends. The washing machine, TV, microwave, fridge, kettle, hair dryer, and iron are already there, and everything is well maintained. Just know that cooking in the loft can leave smells throughout the place. The hallway feels a bit scary, too, since it’s so plain.

The location is a big plus, with shopping malls and public transport connected nearby. There are also Petronas and Petron petrol stations beside the mall, plus restaurants and a convenience store on the ground floor. Our clean, comfortable room had a nice view, free wifi and Netflix, and one free parking space close to the lift entrance. We could use the swimming pool, gym room, and sauna, and enjoy an astonishing night view. There’s also a skywalk on the same floor, with glass walkways.
