The owner was so kind. Once I mentioned I was pregnant, they moved me to another room, and it turned out great. It had a city view, everything looked new, and the big comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep. I paid RM252 for two nights through the Agoda app, which felt like really good value.

The apartment is nicely designed, cozy, and the room itself was good. The service and extra costs, though, were frustrating for what we paid. Parking is first come, first served with no reserved spaces, and they charge for parking, the pool, gym, and even leaving luggage before check-in. We weren't told clearly that another access card could be requested, and only got one, which is awkward for a family with different schedules. Check-in at reception was slow too. I stopped briefly in the waiting area to take my family upstairs, and security warned that my car would be clamped, even though it took only a few minutes and there was no congestion. I understand there are rules, but this felt overly strict. They assigned me a parking spot only after three days, despite lots of empty spaces when I drove in. The service didn't match the price.

The room was fairly clean and the view was nice. Apart from that, the service made the stay unpleasant. They allow one towel a day, and when you ask for another, replies can take hours or never arrive. The free pool on the 8th floor doesn't provide towels either, so you'd have to take one from your room. We ended up not swimming. The steam room also wasn't working, and staff couldn't explain why or how to use it. The rooftop pool on the 48th floor has a stunning view, but entry costs 25 ringgit and they give you a disposable towel. For an extra charge, they should at least keep the standard up. The elevator card didn't work properly either. This was far below what we expected, and I wouldn't recommend the place.

We checked in around 7 p.m. and found dust throughout the unit, broken wardrobe doors in the downstairs bedroom, and a strong cigarette smell upstairs. There were several ashtrays in the upstairs drawers, despite a “No Smoking” sign downstairs. My partner and I chose the downstairs room, but within a few hours we found five small cockroaches. Three looked newly hatched and were barely crawling, and two were a little larger, around 0.5 cm. My partner is so frightened of cockroaches that she couldn't shower or rest, so we checked out right away and reported it to both the WhatsApp contact and reception. They offered another room, but we felt the hygiene problem was likely a management issue across the property. Getting there was confusing too. There are two check-in counters. A woman at the main outside counter was rude, then sent me to a small room in the lobby. The receptionist there assigned Block A, floor 25, but didn't ask whether I needed parking. I noticed the male receptionist beside her asking another guest, so I asked why she hadn't asked me. She said Block A parking was full and offered Block B for RM20 a night. After handing me the card, she didn't explain how to get from Block B to the Block A lift. We later saw a huge number of lizards outside Bila-Bila Mart downstairs. I hope they improve pest control. For a building only about seven years old, it's a pity that things are already in this state. Exsim is a well-known developer, which makes the poor management even more disappointing.
