Casa Mutiara Service Apartment

We stayed in an AirBnB here and found the apartment spacious and very clean. It also felt really safe and secure.

I’m very upset with how this was handled. I sent someone to pick up the key, but they asked him for personal information even though I was on the phone with him. As a result, I lost a significant amount of work outside Kuala Lumpur. I had to leave a meeting in another city and travel back to Kuala Lumpur early to collect the key. This was very, very, very bad.

The apartment had lots of room and was comfortable, with big beds, sofas, a TV, and a small dining table with chairs. It was good value, and we felt safe thanks to the building entrance security. Staff were also available by phone 24/7. Getting around took some time since the location isn’t central, but everything was reachable within 30-40 minutes on foot. The carpets were a bit dirty, so cleanliness could be better. We appreciated having a laundry machine in the apartment, even if it was a little dated. The rooftop pool was nice, though a few deck chairs would have improved the area.

There were stains and hair on the dirty bed sheets. We asked for clean ones but got no response. I kept having breathing difficulty and a cough, then discovered black mold behind the curtains after a few days. This is unacceptable and can affect people’s health. I wish the place had routine checks, deep cleaning, and better hygiene. I would never book there again, but I’m writing this in the hope that something changes and I can help other people.
