Greystone Scarletz Suites

There was a nice view from the pool, and having a convenience store right by the lobby was handy. The stay itself was disappointing, though. The duvet had blood stains, the Wi-Fi password on the ground-floor sign was wrong, and the soundproofing was poor. The lift broke down and we were stuck inside for about 25 minutes. It was a scary experience for my partner. They also charge an extra 5 Ringgit to store luggage, which is odd.

This was my third stay at scarlet suites, and easily my worst one. I really like scarlet suites, but not Greystone scarlets suites. If you want to stay there, choose edenspace scarlet suites or scarlet suites my key instead. Think twice before booking with Greystone, or accept that you're taking a risk. I'm really disappointed. Greystone scarlet suites, please improve the rooms or you'll lose customers' trust. I checked in close to 11 pm. There was only one staff member at the counter and the queue was very long. In the room, the carpet was dusty, and both the bedsheet and mattress were stained with what looked like blood. Is it really so hard to replace them? I asked the staff to change my room, but they told me I had to contact the property myself on WhatsApp before they could do anything. They weren't helpful at all. I had no choice but to spend the whole night without a bedsheet on that stained mattress. The next day my whole body was itching.

My booking through Booking.com was overbooked, leaving me with nowhere to go at that hour and no help from either Greystone or Booking.com. I called Booking.com's customer service over and over, but nobody answered. Greystone gave me their number and no solution. At 1:50 am I called Greystone again; after a few tries, I believe the same woman answered, though she said it was another girl. She told me I had to keep calling Booking.com or my money would be lost. That's all the help I got. I had first contacted Greystone customer service on Saturday, 19th Oct 2024 at 10 pm to register and say I'd arrive after midnight. The next call, on Sunday, 20th Oct at 1 am, was answered by one Malay girl. She was very rude. I asked why they hadn't told me earlier about the problem, since I'd registered three hours before, and she said it was first come, first served. She kept going in circles, blamed a machine for replying to my text, and bragged that they had 10 properties. She said she'd send me options to transfer to another property, but never shared any details of those supposedly great places as promised by text.

The pool has a nice view and KLCC is about a 10-minute walk away. But the bunk bed mattress was thin, sagged in the middle and was so uncomfortable I could feel the frame. When we called to complain and asked for another mattress or a comforter, they said they couldn't help because it was after 9 pm and nobody was onsite. Sound travelled badly through the walls too, and we could hear people next door laughing. This was my last visit here, at least with Greystone.
