Grid 9 Hotel by OYO

There was air conditioning and a decent bed, though the TV kept pausing. The room was extremely narrow, with no space to do anything besides sleep. If you just need a budget hotel for 1-2 days, it should be fine, but as a tourist I wouldn't really recommend it. There's nowhere nearby to wander or find supper, only the train station. Bring your own water bottles, since they charge a rather high price for one. Around 2am I needed help with a facilities issue, but nobody was at the lounge or lobby. I had no clue what to do.

The room wasn't large, but the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean too, though the shower water pressure was low; there was a water heater. The room had an LED TV, free Wi-Fi, and a nice view of the monorail passing overhead. The hotel is in a great spot, two minutes' walk from the Monorail station and about ten minutes from China Town or Petaling street. Seven eleven is a bit far, but still walkable. I'd stay here again on my next visit to KL.

It was quiet, which made the dorm a good fit for working during my trip. The female dorm was the best one I've stayed in in KL: clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. It's right beside Maharajalela train station, just two stops from the center, and you can walk to the center if you like.

The mattress was really comfortable, though I got too hot during the night. There’s a cute little cafe downstairs. The room is basic and cramped, with just a bed and bedside table, and barely any room for luggage or moving around. Fine for a short stay, but the bathroom is tiny.
