I stayed at the Howard Johnson in November-December 2025, and HOJ is my regular hotel whenever Badminton Asia runs projects at the Selangor Badminton Association. The whole team, from management and restaurant staff to the front desk, maintenance, security and housekeeping, always greets me with warm smiles. Check-in is quick, smooth and welcoming, and my room is neat, clean and well maintained, with a cozy bed and excellent facilities. When I've asked for water or extra towels, they've handled it quickly and professionally. Breakfast deserves a mention too, with great variety for an international palate. Thanks to the HOJ staff for another memorable stay. I'll recommend the hotel to colleagues, friends and family, and look forward to coming back in early 2026!

The hotel feels safe and clean, with spacious rooms, all the toiletries you need and helpful, courteous staff. You can arrange one-way rides to several points of interest. It isn't central, though, and there's not much shopping or food nearby. The walk to the MRT isn't too bad, but it can feel dark and lonely, especially for women travelling alone or with other women.

A good place to stay if you're looking for a low-cost hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff extremely helpful, and the free breakfast was solid. The on-site restaurant was decent and affordable too. It's fairly central, within walking distance of Chinatown and Merdeka 118. A few drawbacks: the bathtubs are built too high, shower pressure isn't great, the elevator is slow, and on some floors the fire alarm kept beeping.

The quiet, relaxing atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff made for a very pleasant stay. My room was clean, spacious and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and amenities that all worked properly. Housekeeping did a great job, and it was definitely worth the price. I'd highly recommend it and would stay again.
