Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur

We stayed for a week and had a lovely time at the centric. Joyce had recently become the room manager there, and we already knew her from another hotel she managed. Her assistant is a charming lady too, so we expected a good stay and weren't disappointed. As Hyatt Globalist members, we got a very nice, spacious suite. The rooms were clean, the pool area was fantastic and the location was perfect. The manager also showed us nearby Michelin-starred restaurants. We've never stayed at such an excellent, centrally located hotel. Worth trying.

Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of choices, great coffee and excellent service, and the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout. We had a suite and a deluxe room, both cozy, warm and stylish with a classy boutique feel. We wanted a family room at first, but the extra bed worked perfectly for the kids. Everything felt comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. The infinity pool and rooftop bar have stunning views of the Petronas Twin Towers. We're glad Booking.com pointed us to Hyatt Centric Kuala Lumpur for our first Malaysia trip with kids and parents. The central location made it easy to get around with both children and elderly parents. We stayed on level 15, in rooms 1506 and 1508. One thing to know: clubs are right opposite, so Friday to Sunday can get busy and noisy. It was noisy for us, but that small downside was outweighed by a phenomenal stay. I'd absolutely recommend it, especially for families looking for comfort, great service and a central location.

The food selection was adequate, with some real standouts. The Goreng Trio, cucur, pisang goreng and ubi goreng, had a light batter and came out perfectly crispy. The Kerabu Sotong was fresh and flavorful, and Mixed Berry Panna Cotta was a lovely sweet finish. We had a great dinner at their Bazaar Ramadan recently. We arrived a little before the official start time, but the staff welcomed us and let us sit rather than wait outside. A special thanks to manager Encik Shahrul, who greeted us himself and kindly offered the desserts while the kitchen team finished preparing the main spread. Great hospitality and a nice variety!

The allergy icons beside each breakfast item were a thoughtful help for my family, making it easier to choose food with confidence. We also loved the breakfast venue on level 19, with its lovely city skyline and Twin Towers view. The little glass corridor by the pool on level 21 was fun and a bit exciting too. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the room and restaurant felt cozy and relaxing. A really comfortable, memorable stay.
