Being close to Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) was handy, especially for students or anyone visiting for university events. iHome Boutique Hotel was good value, and I had a comfortable stay. My room was clean and well kept, and the staff were helpful and courteous, making check-in easy. I'd recommend it.

For RM90 a day through Booking.com, the nearby shops were a big plus: eateries open 24 hours, a pharmacy, clinic, utensil shop, and gadget shop, all within 30 metres. The room was a bit small, but the AC worked well, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the toilet was well maintained. I didn't like having to stay in their extension across the road because the main building was full.

My room smelled musty and wasn't clean. There were dark spots on the wall that looked like fungus, and the air conditioner gave off an unpleasant smell too.

The front desk service deserves 5 stars, and the towel and bed were great too. The room fragrance, though, gets just 1 star: some supplies had no scent, so they should add a drop whenever they clean. Room and toilet cleanliness were only 3 stars. Breakfast was simple, but boleh lah. Book three months ahead for a cheaper rate. Worth the price.

We chose this place mainly because it was cost-effective. We booked two nights but got no room service. Please fix the water hose if possible, and leave a spoon in the room.
