For the price, the place was really good: our room was clean and neat, and the pool was clear and clean. But the lift sometimes got stuck, and the security guards made us register as many as three times. When two of my friends went down to ask the guard how to check out, they were taken to the management office. My friends don’t speak much English, so they spoke in “Indonesian,” and the officer mocked their accent, laughed at them, and corrected their English. They were speaking Malay too, but the officer still made fun of their English. My friend said they wanted to check out and asked about the steps and rules. The officer corrected them, saying “moving out” instead of “check out,” then laughed and said the two phrases were totally different. Be careful if you’re Indonesian and book a room here, as you might face racism from the management officer. 😂😂

The place was really disappointing. The whole building seemed dirty and smelled bad, especially the bathroom. The bedsheets were stained and dirty, and service was poor, with staff taking minutes to answer phone calls.

The place feels pretty run down. The water features need a good cleaning, and the travelators to the basement seem out of use. Few of the commercial lots are occupied. Parking is ticket-based and cash only, so bring RM1 and RM5 notes.

It’s quite clean overall, and can be quiet during the day. There are condo units and office blocks above and below, with eateries and drinking and party options later in the day. The daytime food choices are limited, though I don’t have to tell you what nighttime is like.

We rented an Airbnb and got a bad feeling on arrival. The surroundings were dirty and smelly, and although the unit looked nicely decorated at first glance, its hygiene was questionable, which of course is the owner’s responsibility. The worst part was the toilet, which stank badly. It felt like building management hadn’t cleared the sewage in a long time. There are a few decent restaurants on the right side of the mall, but the rest of the tenant mix just isn’t for the usual crowd. What a waste for a building that’s only 15 years old.
