Pavilion Apartments

The hotel is inside a large mall with lots of shops, and there are street stalls just outside. The view from the hotel is magnificent. Staff were really nice and checked in to see if we needed anything instead of waiting for us to call. I hadn’t experienced that kind of service at another hotel. The room has a modern feel, but it’s plain, with almost everything white and no decoration.

The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are great, and room service is accommodating, including if you ask for a particular pillow type. The hotel’s location on the edge of bukit bintang is convenient: after the long drive, I could park, check in, then shop at connecting pavilion. It is a bit costly, but the room helped take the sting out of that. Breakfast was the letdown. The standard prata dough was so heavy it didn’t taste good, and the soup noodles had a strange flavor that put me off after the first sip. I could manage the nasi lemak, the chinese options, and the egg station. I hope management takes a look at the breakfast choices.

The breakfast menu changed each day, so I looked forward to it every morning. Ismail at Courtyard even gave a teh tarik demonstration, and Kimi and Anita made breakfast pleasant with their friendly, attentive manner. A special thanks as well to Azman from the Housekeeping Team, whose efficient work helped make my stay comfortable. From arrival through departure, the staff were friendly and professional. I’d highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

We came to Malaysia as a family of 11 and stayed at the Pavilion Hotel. The location was wonderful, though meals at Pavilion Mall are quite pricey; there are plenty of other shops in the area where you can eat. The rooms were very clean and turned over twice a day. Throughout our visit, the front desk, lobby, housekeeping, and breakfast restaurant teams gave us wonderful, attentive service. Their English was impeccable and nothing felt like too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel.
