KLCC Dorm (7 min walking to Twin Towers)

I stayed in this dorm on a solo trip and found the price reasonable, especially with BTS and MRT nearby. Dang Wangi station is 500m away, and Bukit Nanas is 300m away. The staff were friendly and helpful, but check-in takes a little coordination: once you reach the building reception, you need to call the phone number or add them on WhatsApp so someone can come down and take you to the dorm. There's a 100RM deposit for the elevator card and locker key in case you lose them, and staff pay it back when you check out. The toilet is cleaned every day. I'd recommend this dorm if you're traveling alone and trying to save money.

I was disappointed when I called to ask about leaving my luggage. The staff member said I couldn't drop it off before check-in. Maybe that's the hotel's policy, but even cheaper dorms I've stayed at offered better service. And this is a hotel in Malaysia, yet the staff member couldn't speak Malay at all?

I ended up here after an accident meant I had to cancel my previous accommodation booking while I was traveling alone in KL. The manager took me in, and everyone was really nice. It's a good fit for backpackers on a budget who need a short stay and don't mind sharing a room.

It's easy to get around from here since the monorel station is really close. This was my second stay, and I still loved the place. Mr. Kassim was friendly and very helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.
