I was very upset by how the hotel handled a serious issue during my stay. A valuable item went missing from my room, and I filed a police report. I was told someone would get back to me within 24 hours, but I never got meaningful follow-up or updates. As an international tourist, I felt my concerns weren’t taken seriously and that little was done to help me through a stressful situation. I was also told during the investigation that the hotel’s CCTV had no audio, limiting what could be reviewed. Before leaving the room, I had clearly asked housekeeping not to come in or clean. Staff entered anyway, cleaned, and handled my belongings without permission. That made the disappearance of the valuable item even more distressing, since I had trusted that my things would be safe. Hotels should respect guests’ privacy and respond promptly when something serious happens. This experience fell far short. I don’t recommend the hotel because my privacy wasn’t respected, an expensive item disappeared, and my complaint was poorly handled.

The hotel is handy for seeing the city by train, with LRT and MRT stations nearby. There are also convenience stores outside the dead mall right next door. I stayed four nights and would consider coming back to KL. My room was a little small, but fine for travelling alone, and the AC was great in KL’s heat. I could hear the next room quite clearly, though, and the shower had no cold water. Still, it was a great stay overall.

The location worked really well for my leisure plans, and the whole stay felt relaxing and well organized. My room was clean, and room service did a great job. Mr. Kawar handled it really well. The staff were friendly too. I had an excellent experience.

The room’s condition was really disappointing. It smelled strongly, the bathroom fixtures were rusty, some lights didn’t work, the sofa was damaged, and the sheets were stained. Cleanliness and upkeep were unacceptable. This was one of my worst hotel stays, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Vella and Neos at the front desk went out of their way to help us, and the service throughout was top-notch. We had a wonderful stay, with lovely rooms. Highly recommend this hotel!
