Luxe Suites at Vortex KLCC Apart-hotel

We believe this may be a scam, based on what happened to us and the many similar accounts we later found online. We’re sharing this so other travellers can avoid the same ordeal. We booked 20 days ahead, but the host or agent never answered our messages or other attempts to reach them. A few days before check-in we tried again, with no reply. Since the booking was non-refundable if we didn’t show up, we went ahead as planned. We arrived around 2:30 pm and messaged once more. The only answer was an automated message telling us to wait at SOHO KLCC and collect the key. We asked for early check-in and proper instructions. They read our messages but didn’t respond. At 3:00 pm we contacted Agoda support, and then the host cancelled at the last minute.

We were already at the airport on the day of our flight when they suddenly cancelled the hotel we’d booked weeks earlier. We spent a few hours stranded there trying to find somewhere affordable during New Year’s. The service was garbage. Don’t bother booking with this stupid hotel chain.

We rented the place for four days and couldn’t make it through even the first one. It looked good at first, but after leaving we realized how bad it was. There are lots of cockroaches in both the building and apartments, and it’s really hard to breathe inside. It’s a hazardous, shitty place, and they even charge extra for the gym. Find somewhere else and avoid this building.

Habib took great care of us and helped make the trip a good one. The place was very clean, neat, and tidy, with safe and secure surroundings. The scenery from the windows was beautiful too.
