Lila Suites Agile Bukit Bintang, KLCC

The room itself looked very new and was clean, but check-in was a disaster. We arrived to find it hadn't been cleaned or made up at all. Our family was assigned room 13A, but the lift card wouldn't let us access that floor. With heavy luggage, we had to get off on the 11th floor and climb the stairs. The person in charge kept insisting that lift access was working fine, which was frustrating and irresponsible. Traveling with a family and bags made this incredibly inconvenient. Couples with light luggage might manage, but I strongly advise families against staying here. We left exhausted and miserable, and will never book this place again.

For our family of six, we booked a two-bedroom unit with a living room. They turned the living room into another bedroom, which was fine. We had the larger type of unit, and it was in better condition than the one-bedroom apartments. The rooms and bathroom were clean, the air con was strong, and the heater worked well. Beds, pillows, and towels were good, and you can ask for extra towels. Getting to the room can be a pain: only four of six lifts serve 60 floors. After swimming, I waited 20 minutes for a lift on the 10th floor. They provide plenty of bottled water if you ask the concierge, who delivers it in about 30 minutes.

Being able to walk to so much has made me appreciate this part of Kuala Lumpur over time. From here, you can reach malls, restaurants, cafés, offices, medical facilities, hotels, and public transport without relying much on a car. TRX, Pavilion, Starhill, MRT stations, and everyday amenities are all within walking distance. Agile Bukit Bintang sits between TRX, Bukit Bintang, and the wider KLCC corridor. On a short walk, you can go from TRX's modern business district to Bukit Bintang's shopping and lifestyle scene, then to the more local feel along Jalan Delima. Pedestrian links and commercial activity are improving as the area develops. This is a city-center spot for people who like being near the movement and convenience of a major city, not for someone after a quiet suburban lifestyle. To me, it shows how walkability and a connected urban setting can shape city living. That was the biggest problem with the stay. The building has 60 floors but only four lifts working, and it took me about 40 minutes just to get downstairs at checkout. The lift going down from the 50th floor took 15 minutes because it stopped at every floor, with everyone heading to the lobby. The lift wasn't ventilated properly either.
