The area worked really well for getting around. There are train and subway stations and bus stops nearby, with connections into the city and even surrounding towns. Google Maps makes some routes look like big 30 min. loops, but pedestrian overpasses cut those walks to less than 10 min. I liked being on a busy street, with malls and stations on one side and the clean, nice neighborhood of Bangsar on the other. I stayed for a month as a solo female traveler and felt comfortable the whole time. The price seemed reasonable for what you get, the AC worked well, and even when the hostel was full it didn't feel overcrowded or noisy. The owners were very nice and respectful of guests' wishes.

I had a private room for a week at Nowhere Hostel. It was basic, but the bed was good and there was a desk for work. The bathrooms and showers stayed clean, with warm water and good pressure. The staff were kind and thoughtful, and I enjoyed chatting with them. The place felt welcoming, clean, and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend it to travelers looking for a high quality hostel in a convenient location.

I got to talk with the owners, and they're great people. The staff are welcoming and the hostel is very clean. It felt like a home away from home, while still being a chance to hear about other cultures and travel experiences.

Movie nights were my favorite. Being so far from family, it made me feel like I'd found a new one. It's a cosy, budget friendly hostel with friendly owners and a lovely atmosphere. The metro station is nearby too, which made getting around KL easy. I recommend it!

Run by travellers who understand what you want from a hostel, this place offers help when needed without hassling you when you're clearly independent. The WiFi was good. I stayed in a four bedroom mixed dorm, with a light and power socket by each comfortable bed. Breakfast included cereal as well as jam on toast, the classic Malaysia option.
