We stayed in Apartment 2-12-02, a spacious one-bedroom unit with a full kitchen, living room, multiple bedrooms, and balconies. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size with a stand-in shower, and the toiletries were good quality. The air conditioning kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The views are the standout. From the mid floors up, Merdeka 118 fills the window, with the old Merdeka Stadium off to one side and the KL skyline around it. From higher floors on a clear day, you can also spot the Petronas Twin Towers in the distance. Having coffee on the balcony in the morning was a treat, and the 8th-floor pools face almost straight toward the tower. At dusk, seeing it lit up while floating in the pool was a memorable moment. The view alone makes OPUS worth considering over somewhere with no particular outlook. The location has pros and cons. Maharajalela Monorail station is right next door, and Grab rides to Bukit Bintang or KLCC take around 10-20 minutes depending on traffic, usually under RM20. Petaling Street / Chinatown is a short trip away and good for food and atmosphere. The neighbourhood felt quiet and safe, but it's not very walkable for malls or restaurants, so you'll need a ride for most meals and shopping. The two outdoor pools are a good size and have great city views, plus there's a children's pool. The 24-hour gym on the 16th floor has impressive views too, though it isn't fully equipped, so you may need to stick to functional exercises. There's also a sauna, a lush garden, and reportedly a mini golf setup. Wi-Fi was free, worked around the property, and had good speed. The large Smart TV had a wide range of sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment channels in several languages. The friendly staff looked after us with a smile. Special shout-out to ZAHID, one of the people managing the property, for making sure we had a great stay, and to HAMAYUN from housekeeping for the diligent work every time. It's a self-catering apartment, so I can't comment on dining, though there's a cute little Coffee Kiosk just outside reception for a quick cup of coffee.

The staff were very rude, and this was the worst place I've stayed in KL. The street below was full of garbage, the place smelled bad, and it's far from everything.

I spent eight days here and was very satisfied. The apartment was clean, tidy, and felt safe, with card controlled entry and exit. The kitchen had what I needed to cook, and both the washing machine and hot water worked perfectly.
