The station was calm and efficient when I visited LRT Sultan Ismail in the afternoon. The platforms gleamed, signs were clear, and trains ran on time, making transfers easy. With no rush-hour crowd, it was effortless to get around. The clean, thoughtful layout felt intuitive and safe, and boarding was smooth and timely. A reliable experience, worth four stars.

The connection to Medan Tuanku Monorail station is via a covered bridge, but the two stations are still around a 10-minute walk apart. LRT Sultan Ismail is one of Kuala Lumpur's metro stations. Inside, it was spacious and clean, with side-by-side platforms and steel seats in the waiting area. There are escalators on each side for going up. The lift is only available for disabled passengers and others who need it. You can buy a one-way ticket from a machine at the concourse, and top up Touch and Go at the counter.

This is one of the earlier LRT stations, and it's reasonably clean. It gets mildly crowded after 6pm. A walkway connects it to medan tuanku Monorail, saving 1RM, and can also take you to the jln Sultan ismail area. There's a Chinese primary school nearby too.

This was my first time visiting the station, as far as I remember. It's much like other LRT stations, though quite busy because it's in the capital's bustling corporate business area.

Jalan Sultan has some great photo spots, especially for teens rather than little kids. It’s tucked away on a quiet road, with a modern, BADAS vibe. Malaysia has been the country’s second most visited tourist destination over the last five years, and this place feels ready for an Instagram shoot. Bring a camera and take photos around Sultan Ismail teritory, it could go v i r al.
