Sky Suites KLCC Homestay by BIRDY STAY

It felt like home, with everything we needed there just like in our own house. The room was clean, well maintained, and everything worked perfectly. The location was another plus, close to the city with lots of shops and dining options nearby. The check-in process has a few details, but once we got in touch with the staff, especially Jalal, it became smooth and easy. We appreciated the help and communication. We especially liked the beautiful view at night, and the location was excellent, close to the Petronas Towers and convenient public transport for getting around Kuala Lumpur. The rooms and bathrooms at Sky Suites KLCC (Birdy Stay) were clean and well maintained. The unit had useful equipment for short or long stays, including a microwave oven, induction cooker, washing machine, kitchen essentials, TV, and air conditioning in every room. We had a comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it.

The apartments are basic rather than fancy, though having a washing machine was a big plus. The price is competitive, and the central KL location gives quick access to major attractions. Staff were decent and polite, without causing any major headaches. Room cleaning isn’t included in the overall package, but you can request it separately, and it’s complimentary. The building seems to underinvest in its appearance and hygiene. We encountered cockroaches, and at times the trash area smell was overwhelming. The elevators were a problem, with a couple of breakdowns despite the large number of visitors and tenants, and the access cards failed a few times too. The security guards were unusually brutish and rude, seeming to communicate only with grunts and whistles. It got under our skin after a while. Some improvements could really lift the experience.

Check-in may involve waiting outside the building, rather than indoors, for about 10 to 15 minutes, so plan for that. We had a wonderful stay at Birdy Stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and my family really enjoyed it. We were very satisfied with the service and would recommend it to friends. Our experience was excellent, so we were surprised to see some low ratings on Google Maps. Thanks for the great hospitality!
