The coffee, brownies, and cookies at the Cafe by reception were amazing. The British manager went above and beyond to help, and thanks to James and the rest of the staff. We loved the hotel’s Western standards and the friendly team. If I remember right, it opened two years ago. Everything felt sparkling clean and new, with modern rooms and a comfy bed. It’s about a five-minute walk from the green metro line, which gets you to the city center in ten minutes or less. We highly recommend it.

It’s a simple, fairly priced place with small rooms near central KL in Chow Kit. Read the reviews before booking so you know what to expect and avoid misunderstandings. When approached, new staff member Elsie and Michael give commendable help as best they can.

This budget hotel is clean and fresh, with well-equipped amenities and welcoming staff. It’s near monorail stations, so getting around is easy. A very nice place to stay, highly recommended. I’ll definitely come back soon.

NONSENSE HOTEL. AVOID THIS PLACE. I arrived late at night, around 10-11PM on 18.4.2026, with a fully paid reservation for a quick overnight stay to rest and freshen up. At check-in, they said I needed a 200RM deposit or I couldn’t stay. The receptionist told me to find an ATM in the middle of the night. Who carries cash these days? As a woman, I felt this was absurd and raised the risk of being robbed at an ATM late at night. I cancelled check-in and lost the money I’d paid for the booking. This hotel and its ridiculous policy caused hassle and wasted my time. The deposit was double the room booking price, which seems unreasonable for a budget hotel. If you want customers to return, make check-in convenient instead of chasing people away for not having cash. I’d rather find another hotel after this trouble. This place isn’t worth my money.
