The dorm was just as enjoyable as the double room I had for my first two nights. Both were clean, and the air conditioning was really cold. The private room was spacious and a great deal, especially since paying a couple of dollars extra over the fan option felt well worth it. Staff are travelers, the vibe is excellent, and the kitchen and toilets get cleaned regularly. The location is great too. I’ll be back!

The kitchen was well equipped, the dorm was clean, and the staff were helpful. I stayed a few nights and had a really good time. It’s a relaxed place in a handy spot: the places I wanted to see were walkable or just a few metro stops away, and the price was very good. I’d happily return if I’m in KL again. ☺️

The outdoor area is such a cozy place to unwind, and the dorms are calm and pleasant too. The kitchen has everything you need, and both it and the bathrooms were clean. Big thanks to the volunteers, they were always ready to help with a smile. No problems staying here at all!

I had a lot of fun here and met some really cool people. Most of the people you’ll meet are volunteers, and they’re nice, funny, and great to hang out with. The rooms are simple, with a bed, water, and a kitchen, and there are different sizes. Pretty much what a backpacker needs.

Step Inn has a shared kitchen and a laid-back garden, and the team really seems to care. There are volunteers and travelers from all over, so it’s easy to feel like you’re among friends instead of in a hotel, and you won’t feel alone. Backpackers will feel right at home here. If you get bored, there’s a secret bar at their sister branch, Dorms KL, a few minutes’ walk away.
