Step Inn Too

You’re close to Chinatown and Little India, with the metro and buses not far away. The place has a good atmosphere and is great for budget backpackers, with friendly staff, many of whom I think are volunteers. I met people from all over. The rooms have AC and free WiFi, plus key card access and lockers; the rooms are locked for security. The shared showers and toilets were large and clean. You can buy drinks from the fridge, use it yourself, and get hot water for coffee or use the toaster.

This was my first backpacker stay, and I was so happy with it that two nights turned into five days. I never wanted to leave. The location made it easy to explore the city on foot, and the facilities were clean. Staff were friendly and professional, and I met some amazing people who felt like family during those days. I’d highly recommend Step inn in Kuala Lumpur and hope to see you all again!

The lounge is a really chill place, the showers are great, and the night group activities make it fun to meet people. We had such a good time here, thanks to the very friendly staff. Definitely recommend, and I can’t wait to return!

The Wi-Fi was bad, though that may be the provider’s fault, and the common room couches could be more comfortable. The location is good, near downtown and transport, and the staff are friendly. I met lots of people and spent plenty of time outside swapping stories and having beer with guests and staff. Most or all dorms have just one bunk bed, so there’s no noise. There are good security lockers, and the showers are spacious and warm.
