I paid RM450 for the Ramadan offer with Iftar and Sahur, but the experience wasn’t very satisfying. I had registered and paid weeks before Ramadan, yet on the Iftar day they gave my table to someone else. I had to wait until after 7.50 for my table to be set up, and the seating was very close to another table. At least the food was okay. Parking was difficult to find and wasn’t reserved exclusively for hotel guests. In the room, the air conditioning wasn’t cold enough, especially from around midnight to 6 am. The water heater temperature was unstable, the water pressure was low, and there was visible dust.

The banquet staff at Ideas Hotel are friendly and very helpful, especially Miss Linda. The morning and evening tea breaks and lunch buffet were generous, with plenty of food and a range of choices for different tastes. I run trainings, and hotel service is a big part of the experience for both my participants and me. I hope to return for future seminars and trainings.

Ms. Amly at reception handled a small checkout problem very calmly when we misplaced the receipt they’d given us. During our two days at Ideas Kuala Lumpur, the room was consistently clean, and water and other necessities were replenished without us asking. The food was good and the pool was clean too. The service was very good throughout. All the staff were extremely courteous and greeted us with pleasant smiles whenever we saw them. My family and I had a very good experience.

The ballroom was even turned into a surau for 250 pax jemaah for our terawih, and the hotel team’s professionalism, hospitality, and attentiveness helped everything run smoothly. Puan Shieda, the Hotel Sales Manager, deserves special thanks for her outstanding support. She was helpful at every turn and went above and beyond to make the event happen. Our team had a wonderful time hosting a Ramadhan Event at Hotel Ideas KL, including a meaningful Majlis Berbuka Puasa with our Chairman, sponsors, and valued collaboration partners. The food had a wide range of dishes, and every one tasted really good. It’s rare to find a spread that stays consistently excellent throughout. Compliments to the chef and kitchen team. It was a pleasant and memorable experience, and we appreciate the excellent service from Hotel Ideas KL. We look forward to future collaborations.
