Sunshine Bedz Hostel Kuala Lumpur

The hostel’s social side made my stay in Kuala Lumpur really enjoyable. The staff were great at bringing people together, and the pub quiz and pub crawls were fun and well organized. The bathrooms were basic but clean, and I appreciated that. The building needs some work, though. Our room had a cockroach once, the carpet wasn’t great, and the WiFi barely worked. The beds weren’t very comfortable, and without curtains there wasn’t much privacy. I still had a good time thanks to the people and atmosphere, but the facilities could use improvement.

I felt safe here and thought it was great value, with a really friendly atmosphere. The room was clean and nice, towels were provided, and the women-only bathrooms were clean and good too. It was a good first stop for me as a solo traveller. Public transport is easy to reach and there are lots of places to eat nearby. The staff were lovely, and an organized pub crawl on my first night made it easy to meet people. I’d recommend it.

Leaving felt surprisingly emotional, almost like I was saying goodbye to home. Patrick and Ikhwan treated guests like family and made me feel so welcome. The hostel’s close to the monorail, Pavilion, attractions, and plenty of good food. There’s free breakfast too, and the pub crawl was great. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

The staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to help, which made the stay feel special. They also organize things like a pub quiz and pub crawl, so it’s easy to meet people. The hostel was very clean, had good facilities, and sits in a good location.
