My friend was later stopped from going upstairs, supposedly because management didn’t allow it. Another guard then told me there had been a complaint because a cleaner found a condom on the staircase. When my friend asked which floor, the answer was, “I don’t know.” So why accuse us just because we were seen sitting on the stairs? We often sit at the same staircase to drink, talk, or eat, and several security guards had been fine with it. But one bald Indian security guard came over and chased us away, saying there was a “complaint.” He couldn’t say who had complained or what it was about. Don’t accuse people without evidence. If sitting on the stairs isn’t allowed, put up a clear “DO NOT SIT HERE” sign.

I stayed here with my family and found it a good place in the CBD, though highway traffic made it quite noisy. I’d rate the stay 8 out of 10, the pool 7, and the gym 5 unless you know how to make use of the limited weights. There are lots of restaurants around. Pavilion is a 25-minute walk, TRX takes 10 minutes on foot, KLCC 30 minutes, and the MRT 10 minutes. Do visit and enjoy your stay.

Security guards need training in how to treat people. They’re ill-mannered and keep behaving badly. Even when you use the access card, they won’t give you a pass and act like immigration officers. 👎👎👎👎

The Forum condominium building is elegant, and there are smoking areas if you want to smoke. Some of the security staff are kind and helpful, and I like that atmosphere. But the hostel maintenance service is very slow. Water started leaking in my room on 2024-05-17, and nearly two months later I still had to sleep outside. People came to our room, but nobody took pictures. Management is too poor, and even when we complained to the owner, nothing got done. 🤧🤢
