Tribeca Serviced Hotel by Millennium

I regret booking this apartment. We were lucky to stay just one night. The pillows smelled strongly of sweat. I don’t know if they weren’t aired out properly or the pillowcases weren’t changed, but even after spraying a lot of antibacterial spray, I could still smell it. There were also broken pieces of the rubbish bin and other stuff under the bathroom sink. Both the queen and single beds sagged in the middle. The mattresses were hard and worn out, and they shook whenever my husband or I turned over. I don’t understand the reviews calling them comfortable. The bathroom has one door from each bedroom. The one from the queen room wouldn’t close unless we pushed it very hard, making a loud bang because the wood was warped. The queen bedroom’s main door was warped too and wouldn’t close. The parking cost RM10 every time we exited, with no free parking. Traffic outside was constantly busy, and even on level 36 we could hear motors revving right by the window. If we’d stayed more than one night, I’d have changed hotels. It’s disappointing that Millenium allows the place to be so poorly maintained, and it tarnishes its reputation. There are some useful features: lots of food and malls are within walking distance, and the washing machine has a dryer so clothes don’t need to be hung up. There’s a kids’ playroom with gaming machines, though some of the flooring is damaged and could be dangerous for small children. There’s also a room with massage chairs, which we didn’t use.

The infinity pool was a lovely place to relax, and shops and restaurants were easy to reach from the hotel. My room was spacious, clean and had everything I needed, including a very convenient washing machine. The service was excellent, and I felt it was good value. I had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend it.

I spent a whole month here in December, and after staying in lots of places in KL, this is easily my favourite. Manager Joshua gave me a good deal for the weeks I was there, and the staff were great. The condo feels fairly new and modern, with good soundproofing, a comfortable bed and blackout curtains. The pools are amazing, with north and south views and plenty of sun. There are six lifts and they’re fast. It’s near Lot 10 and TRX. If your room faces Imbi, lower floors may get some traffic noise, and there’s some construction nearby. I’d definitely come back.

The two pools were lovely and well kept, and we were upgraded to a room, which was very kind. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, and we were comfortable with the amenities. For the price, I think it’s a good deal, and we enjoyed staying here. I expected a less dated hotel, and there were some cleanliness problems: bathroom grout, dirty glassware and a stained throw pillow. They also spray air freshener in the lobby and elevator. I have asthma, and it gave me bad headaches and breathing problems.
