The Ooak Suites and Residence@ Kiara 163

The location is convenient for shops and restaurants, and the gym and pool are nice. Staff were professional and pleasant, though there's no MRT or LRT serving the area. We were unable to view the unit before paying, which mattered given the significant amount and length of our stay. For a supposedly high-end residence, the unit was in terrible condition and poorly maintained. The bathtub was dirty, ants and cockroaches were all over the kitchen, and the unit smelled bad. We had to buy cleaning supplies and do a deep clean ourselves when we arrived. It also needs fresh paint, and the kitchen needs refinishing. At this price, I absolutely wouldn't recommend the building.

There's a quiet atmosphere, plus a gym and swimming pool. Sunway 163 mall is right there, with lots of places to eat and shop. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the location suited my needs. The bathroom could be improved: there was nowhere to hang towels, even though we had to reuse them for three days.

The price seems aimed at a higher-end stay, but the apartment needs some sprucing up, polishing, and minor repairs. It was short on amenities: no hand towel, face towel, or dishcloth, and no tissues. The bedroom air conditioner worked, but the one in the hall didn't. The reception desk was sometimes unattended. I understand this is an Airbnb or service apartment, but even a sign saying someone will be back in five minutes would help.

I stayed in the One Bedroom Suite, which combines contemporary design with a homely feel and elegant furnishings. It has modern facilities, including an outdoor pool, gym, and peaceful garden spaces. The place is conveniently connected to the mall, with lots of eateries around Mont Kiara.
