The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well. It was quiet and relaxing when I arrived, as there weren’t many people around. I liked the free breakfast too, and the bathroom was my favorite part: clean and comfortable, with a hair dryer and an iron. The club next door could be heard at night, with some loud music and speaker noise, though it wasn’t extremely disruptive. I still had a good stay and would recommend the place. One thing that could be better is how some front desk staff communicate. I work in service too, so I know staying friendly with customers all day can be hard, but a better attitude would help guests feel more welcome and safe.

The hotel was extremely clean and smelled pleasant throughout, and the food was delicious. Staff greeted us with big smiles and were very friendly. The location is perfect, with convenience stores, coffee shops, restaurants, an MRT station, and an ATM right beside the hotel. Petronas Towers and Saloma Bridge are a short walk away, and Batu Caves is a quick trip. I’d happily stay here again and recommend The Bed KLCC Capsule Hotel to my friends. A wonderful experience!

There’s free breakfast, and the dorm beds are spacious. The bathrooms are clean and tidy, so it’s a pretty good place to stay. Privacy is the one issue: when your bed light is on, people can almost see what you’re doing through the curtain.

The price-performance ratio was very poor, and there are cheaper hotels than this hostel. Maybe there were good points, but the manager’s extremely rude behavior overshadowed them. She didn’t treat me like a human being. I’m sure she’s never stayed in a hostel. I’ve stayed in hostels across many cities and continents, but this was the strangest reception I’ve ever encountered. My flight was at night, so after checking out I asked to leave my small suitcase at reception. They wanted money for that. I’ve never encountered anything like it anywhere else in the world. The room seemed good, but it was huge, with what I think were 50-60 people staying in it, and someone was definitely snoring. The breakfast they called breakfast was leftover spaghetti. I don’t know which countries eat spaghetti in the morning, but I don’t. A receptionist who wore a headscarf was very helpful, but the rude manager outranked her.

The dorms are great, and I ended up extending my stay a couple of times after wondering whether to book because of some reviews. My pod was a decent size with a comfortable bed, good space, and a big locker, though you need to bring your own lock. The dorm felt safe. The women’s bathroom has a changing area with a hairdryer, straightener, and iron. Showers have good pressure and hot water that stays hot throughout. There’s a big, quiet lounge where I could get work done, a 7/11 next door, and a cafe on the hostel’s bottom floor. It’s close to public transport and lots of places are walkable. I’d definitely return to The Bed KLCC.
