The air conditioning was cold, and that’s the only thing I can say in its favor. The towels were filthy and stained, more like floor mats than bath towels. The mattress springs were completely worn down, with hard metal poking through when I lay on it, and the pillowcases were torn and clearly hadn’t been maintained or replaced. This was extremely disappointing, and my first stay here will be my last. I really wouldn’t recommend it if basic hygiene and comfort matter to you.

The rooms are a reasonable size for the price, and ours was clean from the bed to the bathroom. The towels looked worn, so bring your own. The whole hotel was very clean and had no cigarette smell, and check-in was quick and straightforward. Thanks to the management for looking after the place. Parking is the hassle: spaces are limited, and people often double park, which could make it hard to get your car out in an emergency. After 7pm, though, the area is quiet and parking is available. Many guests seem to be catching buses at TBS, so Grab is often easier. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the hotel is close to TBS Station. A good place to stay while waiting for a bus from TBS.

My room faced the street, but it was surprisingly quiet. The hotel is good, and the area is lovely, with Taman Connaught Night Market nearby. We had a few problems during our stay, but the manager and staff were kind and quick to help.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The desk service was slow, and although the location seems close to TBS, you can’t get there on foot. It takes about a 10-minute Grab ride.
