Valenza Hotel & Cafe

There were more than two cockroaches in the room, and when I asked to move, another one appeared in the shower. The Indian lady at the desk was unfriendly and said housekeeping wasn't there. She only called the housekeeper after I pointed out the other roaches. I asked for a toilet and towel, and she said she'd bring them later, but nothing arrived. The staff were very rude. With cleanliness this bad, they should be reported to health inspectors, yet they had the nerve to treat me badly when I raised serious hygiene problems. There were stains on the sheets and in the toilets, rust everywhere in the room, and sticky stuff in the drawers. The power sockets and toilet flush were faulty too. There are so many issues here. Hotel service only comes if you ask for it. This was disgusting, and I'll never set foot in this place again.

For the location and price, it's an easy, cheap option. We arrived at 2 am and reception was quick to help. The room was just okay, good enough for a one-night stay. There's basement parking with a lift. There were little bugs in the toilet. This time our room didn't have a hand bidet, though my husband got one when he stayed before. If you want one, check with reception first.

After a tiring trip, waiting with no clear estimate was really frustrating. My room wasn't ready or clean when I arrived, even though check-in was supposed to be smooth. They didn't meet basic hospitality standards.

The pillowcase smelled like a wet dog, and the Chinese staff member working the midnight shift was rude. There was only one room card for our two-bed bedroom. Hard to believe hotels like this still exist.
