Vortex Suites KLCC by Wakely Kuala Lumpur

We stayed for a week and enjoyed it. The place feels upmarket and is close to Petronas tower and restaurants. There’s a 7 11 on the ground floor for daily essentials. I recommend it.

I’ve never had a worse Airbnb. The TV was broken, and the speaker sounded like it might explode every second. We asked the manger to check it, and they just said to turn the volume down and then it would be fine. The whole place also smelled of cigarettes, and the secondhand smoke smell never went away during our three nights there. It wasn’t cheap either.

I had to cut my stay short and leave the next day for hygiene reasons after finding cockroaches in the kitchen. I told the host right away, but they initially ignored me and didn’t offer another place or take the issue seriously. I was disappointed with the cleanliness and the poor communication.

The location made getting to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants easy, and the three apartments worked well for our group of 19. We stayed at Vortex Suites KLCC from July 26 to August 1, with two bedrooms in each spacious unit, plus a clean, cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen for small meals and snacks for the kids. Everything was spotless and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, and there was room for everyone to relax. Staff were quick to respond, always available, and genuinely helpful. It was a great fit for a large group, and we’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean stay in central Kuala Lumpur.
