Living here is awful because of the condominium management. When problems come up, management offers no support and just tells residents to look after themselves.

The lifts are slow at busy times, and one of them shakes. But the worst issue is the units facing the main road: mat rempit racers make it hard to sleep at night, and nothing has been done about it. Please check the unit before renting. Avoid the road-facing side even if it costs less, or choose an inward-facing unit. Otherwise, consider a newer condo such as TR residence. If your budget allows, I’d look for a newer place.

The lack of a balcony and the high water bill, which is not charged at the domestic rate, are other drawbacks. Rent also feels expensive compared with the newer, quieter TR residence. Cockroaches are rampant in the building, and even after putting out lots of bait, they still don’t die. Choose your unit carefully. Even on a high floor, a road-facing place lets in mat rempit motorcycle noise and nonstop ambulance sirens at night, so your sleep may be disturbed every night. I’d avoid a studio too: it’s very dark when relying on the window light, while keeping the lights on can mean a huge electricity bill.
