It was a calm, quiet place to rest and recharge, and I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, while in-room dining was prompt and the food was good. The welcome from staff could have been warmer and more attentive. My executive room was supposed to include lounge access, but the lounge didn’t offer anything that felt especially special or exclusive.

Miss Shireen’s warm, attentive service made our stay especially memorable. From the moment we arrived, she was professional and genuinely caring, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. Her friendly manner made us feel welcome and valued. She’s a wonderful member of staff and a real asset to the hotel. We’ll definitely return and recommend the hotel to others. Thank you, Miss Shireen, for your kindness and hospitality.

Stay: 10-11 April 2026 Parking was easy to use and validate, and the WiFi worked well enough, which helped because Maxis, Celcom, and Digi coverage was poor in the room. The parking area did have an unpleasant smell. For a hotel sold as 5-star, though, the experience fell short. To me it felt closer to 4-star at best, with a clear gap between the branding and what was delivered in service and facilities. The location is isolated. There’s no public transport within a comfortable walk and very few places to eat nearby, so guests will probably need Grab, a taxi, or hotel food. A small 24-hour self-service shop in the building is the only nearby convenience. There are no kid-friendly facilities such as a kids’ room, which makes it less suitable for families. Our room needed attention: wrinkled, poorly kept curtains; weak shower pressure in Room 1707; hot water that wasn’t consistently warm enough for the bathtub; a loose socket by the minibar; unstable TV connection; and a very thin blanket that didn’t meet 5-star expectations. We’d asked for connecting rooms in the booking notes and by email, but got no email response. At check-in the request was first declined with explanations that didn’t line up. The hotel only arranged connecting rooms after more discussion and follow-up, which left us concerned about coordination and how requests are handled. At the front desk, the tone and interactions felt below the professionalism expected at a 5-star hotel. The smiles seemed forced, and communication came across as defensive instead of welcoming. Breakfast was average, with a decent selection, but many dishes weren’t replenished promptly around 9:00 AM on a busy weekend, and the taste was underwhelming. The hotel seems to host many international tour groups. Some guests ignored the dining rules and took food away despite clear signs, and staff should have managed that more proactively to maintain standards and the guest experience. With better upkeep, staff training, and more consistent operations, the hotel has potential. In its current condition, it doesn’t meet expectations.

Alexis was the best part of our afternoon tea. She welcomed us warmly, stayed attentive, and even helped cut our cake, making the celebration feel more special. The buffet food was fresh and delicious, and the spread was great. Alexis’s service is why I’d recommend the place and come back.
