ZEN Rooms Bukit Jalil

For about RM 71 a night through Agoda, the room felt like good value and was larger than I expected. There was space for two queen beds and a single bed, plus a closet with three hangers. They provided private parking, two towels, shower gel, shampoo, a coffee maker, two bottles of water, two cups, and instant coffee. There was no hair dryer, iron, or minibar. The room was fairly clean, though the walls were dirty. A small cockroach appeared from somewhere, and I killed one last night. It was also rather dim inside. The pillows and mattress were a bit hard, and the bed frame squeaked when I moved. Sound insulation was okay, but footsteps and other room doors closing could be heard from outside. I was concerned about the bathroom window in the first-floor room. It sits quite low, has no lock, and was difficult to close again once opened. People passing along the corridor could see into the bathroom through it. I don’t know what the bathroom windows are like on the other floors. Still, it was a nice enough stay for the money.
