The toilet was about 95% clean. If you're lucky, you might get a covered parking spot. The room is a little pricey, though there's a Western cafe within walking distance.

We had to change rooms three times because the cleanliness was so bad. The first one had lizard droppings all over. In the second, there was a strong foul smell, and I found something rotting with maggots underneath the bed. The third room still hadn't been cleaned properly, with spider webs, dusty floors, and cockroaches in the bathroom.

I was here once for a business trip. It’s near town, opposite Majlis Daerah Rompin, and the price is affordable, but the building looks quite worn. The room was spacious and had air conditioning, a TV, and hot water. Cleanliness was so-so. The interior was ordinary, and the curtain color looked off to me. The clips were fitted badly too, making the curtains look messy and ugly, like the job was done halfheartedly. The bigger problems were the facilities. Three towels were damp, which felt dirty even though they didn’t smell, and some had permanent stains. I didn’t see any ceiling leaks. The water closet tank had no water, so I opened it and filled it using the hand bidet. The tank system seemed faulty, and then the bidet sprayer broke as well. It made using the toilet really inconvenient. There’s a kids pool and quite a lot of parking. Still, with the poor service and facilities, it didn’t feel worth the money. Rompin has a few other hotels, so this was my first and last stay. I won’t be back.

The room felt old and smelled that way too. The floor was dusty, there were dead cockroaches, and some towels and sheets had stains. The toilet smelled so strong when we first went in that my friend had to wash it before we could use it. The receptionist wasn’t friendly, and the lobby had neither air conditioning nor a fan. At checkout, no one was at the counter, so I had to call the owner to say we were leaving. Hope they improve.
