The room is neat, but I wouldn’t suggest it unless you’re travelling alone and trying to keep costs down. The towels, sheets, and curtains didn’t seem properly washed, although I didn’t get itchy. The toilet was neat, but the shower had issues and the water pressure was poor.

There are plenty of places to visit nearby, and food is convenient with a mart just across the road. It’s in a strategic spot near HUSM, MYDIN, and ECONSAVE. The staff were friendly, and my room was clean and pleasant. I was very satisfied with the stay.

Right in front of University Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM) Kubang Kerian, this is a budget hotel, and I paid 55 MYR for one night plus an 85 MYR deposit. The room was medium-small. One lamp didn’t work, and although the A/C ran, the room still felt hot even set to 16°. There’s no fan. The bathroom exhaust fan was weak, so after showering it felt very hot, with the A/C not helping much either. The toilet’s vacuum fan also seemed not to work properly. The TV didn’t work, and reception told me it couldn’t be used. The power stayed on even when I removed the key from the holder. From the moment I entered until checkout, the strong floor-cleaner or clorox smell gave me a headache and made it hard to breathe. Other things were all good.

The room was tidy and fine for sleeping. If you’re staying in KB, it’s handy for HUSM, Mydin, and Econsave, all within walking distance, with lots of other shops close by.
