Dara Inn

This was my third visit, but it'll be my last. The service and quality were very poor, and at RM120 per room per night I don't think it was worth it. Please improve things. The toilet was clogged and flushing it five times didn't fix it. I booked two rooms: the first had no kettle, and reception told me to get drinking water nearby, but there wasn't a glass or jug provided. Are guests supposed to bring their own cups and bottles? The second room had a kettle, but it still had teh tarik left in it from another guest. I wonder whether housekeeping checked it while cleaning. That room's air conditioning also didn't work properly. The hot shower wasn't working either, and cleanliness overall was only fair. The worst issue was the lack of pool rules. Children were swimming and making very loud noise until midnight, disturbing other guests who were trying to rest. Their parents didn't control them. If you want your kids to swim all day and night without bothering others, please get a private pool homestay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The service was warm and efficient, and we especially appreciated the comfortable beds and convenient facilities. We hope to visit again soon.

The chalet is in a handy spot near Kuala Terengganu city and other amenities, and the room was clean. A few things need attention, though: the shower pressure was weak, parking was limited, and the door locks were broken. We had to brace the sliding door with a piece of wood.

It's a shame about the condition of the place, given how strategic the location is so close to the beach. We stayed three nights and complained that there was no hot water, but nothing was done. The water system was poor, with water sitting on the floor, and the air conditioner was dripping. The closet door fell off. The owner should fix things and make the place better.
