I stayed in one of their hostel's individual capsule rooms, and I'd strongly suggest booking somewhere else. I've stayed at other capsule hotels in the same area for less money and had amazing service, so this isn't just about what you get for the price. The soundproofing was poor. With my door shut, I could hear every footstep in the alley, people talking and playing phone audio in the abandoned cafeteria, and even feel the phone alarm vibrations from the capsule beside mine. I also had a problem with a missing pair of slippers. I left them outside my room in the alley, and they were gone. The night shift staff heard about it, but when I followed up the next day, the day shift didn't know anything about my case. A whole team was in the office by the lobby, yet the service was still poor. The front desk said housekeeping or someone nearby might have taken them, and they couldn't do much to trace them because there was no camera. I felt they were irresponsible about what was clearly a theft. The security coverage was poor too. There's no camera in the Z-shaped alley leading to the toilet area, so if anything happened before or after a shower or toilet visit, there'd be nothing to trace or use as evidence for guests. Cleanliness was another major issue. There was dirt in the corners and gaps beside my bed and mirror cabinet, and brown-black stains on my bedsheet when I checked in. The toilet and shower areas had crusty floors and crevices, urine smell along the way to the toilets and inside the showers, a rusty, brittle door lock, and crusty towel holders and faucets. With dirt everywhere, I even wondered if I'd got myself clean properly. One toilet also had unflushed urine. Maintenance wasn't good either. The water dispenser used a plastic bottle and wasn't refilled for guests. I tried to get water around midnight, but it barely dispensed even when tilted; when I came back at about 11.00am the next day, the water level was still the same. The abandoned cafeteria had become a cloth-covered storage space and a place where guests smoked illegally. That's also where the dispenser, clothing iron, and hot water were kept.

The location is great, with laundries, other amenities, and places to eat nearby, and it's easy to get around from there. The hotel itself is old and could use some refurbishment. Parking was terrible, with lots of puddles when it rained.

I booked through Agoda, but this was a terrible stay. It felt more like a motel than a hotel. The reception area had some kind of smell that wasn't welcoming. When I got to my room, the door wouldn't open even after I scanned the card. I went down to complain, and the receptionist re-registered it, but it still failed when I tried again, so I had to go downstairs again. After I pushed for a room change, they gave me another one, but it smelled of cigarettes and really put me off. I left and changed hotels without a refund, since I couldn't get one. This isn't a three-star hotel. To me, it's a no-star motel.

I booked two rooms for a stay from 12 Feb to 14 Feb 2025, and it was pretty much a joke to call this a hotel. The walls had moldy patches and discoloration, and both rooms had dusty tabletop counters with dust that had clearly built up over more than a day. Room 2011's safe had no battery and couldn't be used, while Room 2012 had no safe at all. In Room 2012, I found multiple pests on the tabletop and bed. The service at the front desk was very poor, with no standard of service. The hotel says the front desk is staffed 24 hours, but no one was there. There was only a number to call if there was a problem. Around 2am, the power went out in our room, and we had to turn it back on ourselves because the desk was empty and staff couldn't be found. We later found an individual switchboard in each room and had to use that. We also had trouble getting the room made up. I switched on the make-up-room sign, but hotel engineering made an unexpected joke that the sign was broken, so the front desk couldn't see it and hadn't made up the room. They said to put the make-up-room tag on the door, but Room 2011 didn't have a tag anywhere.

We booked four rooms for 14/9-15/9/2024. There were a few positives: spacious parking at the back, a welcoming receptionist, and a strategic location. The location is handy for getting to tourist spots on a short commute. But the experience was a hit-or-miss, and it wasn't worth the price. The hallways were narrow and the rooms small. We paid RM233.64/night through Booking.com expecting decent accommodation, but some friends who'd stayed at Oyo Hotel said this place gave them the same vibe. One room was infested with rats. We left some snacks on the dressing table, then came back to a messy room with rat droppings on both beds. We contacted the person in charge straight away, but they took 20-30 minutes to arrive. They seemed to expect it, as though this had happened before or they had been trying to catch the rats, and they came prepared with traps. All the rooms were booked, including the standby rooms, so we had to squeeze three people into one room with two twin beds. In the middle of sorting out the rat problem, the key sensor in another room stopped working. That room was next to the rat-infested one, which felt funny and shady. Those guests were locked out and also had to wait for the person in charge. The air conditioning in the affected room wasn't working well either, and it felt warmer than in our other three rooms. Its thermostat was on the unit, unlike the remote-controlled air conditioning in the other rooms.
