Permai Hotel Kuala Terengganu

I booked two rooms for two nights, an executive room and an executive family room, for my family. Both were surprisingly spacious, clean, comfortable, and newly renovated, though a bit of a walk from the main lobby. The executive room faced the main road and was a little noisy at night from traffic. Still, all of us, including my two-month-old baby, slept through it, so it wasn't a big deal. The family room faced the hotel grounds through a large window and was very peaceful. I noticed a leak from the ductwork in its ceiling, and reception moved us to another room 👍🏻 The toilet was clean with good water pressure and a water heater. Room service food and drinks were okay, though a bit overpriced, even a hot Milo was RM10 😮‍💨. When I called because my baby had thrown up on the bedsheet, staff came soon after, changed everything, and left an extra sheet in case it happened again. Breakfast was great. The menu was basic, but I hadn't expected a charcuterie bar. The omelette station opened a little late during our stay, after 9am, but that was fine. A pleasant, decent stay. Thanks, permai hotel 👍🏻

Cleanliness was about average when I visited, and I would have liked more international choices at breakfast, though the food was delicious. The staff were wonderful and helpful throughout. The location was excellent too, just a five-minute walk from Central Terengganu, which was very convenient. My stay was very pleasant.

The Terengganu-style breakfast buffet was so tempting, and the room was nice for an affordable price. The staff were friendly too.

The king bed worked well for our young family of four, and our room was comfortable and met expectations. The hotel is handy for getting to Kuala Terengganu's main sights, and we felt the price was good for the location and amenities. Cleanliness was fine, though nothing special. Breakfast had plenty of good food, although some local dishes didn't taste as good as what we found at nearby eateries. The pool is family-friendly and has a lifeguard, and there's a gym close by. We didn't spot a children's play area, though we may have missed it. Parking might be tight in peak season.
