Inside the hotel there were games, ironing facilities and a Coway water dispenser in the corridor. Our room didn't have a TV with Netflix, though. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a hidden café in the hotel. The place was comfortable and affordable, and it is near Pasar Payang by a short drive or on foot. There are also a 7-Eleven, cafés and some nice photo spots nearby. Getting there takes a bit of care. The road is narrow and goes through the Chinatown area behind Pasar Payang, and traffic can get heavy at peak times. Parking at the hotel was often full, but there was a paid spot nearby in front of a batik laundry for RM2. This was my first stay, and I can see why it is often sold out. Prices may go up on weekends and public holidays, as they do at most hotels.

I've stayed in their dormitory capsule, and it's one of the best dorms I've tried. The dorm and toilet were very clean and thoughtfully set up. Essentials are close by, and Pasar Payang and local food are within walking distance. Definitely recommend staying here!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the sheets were clean. The AC also worked well, which is why I'm giving two stars. But I wouldn't recommend staying in the dormitory. The owner arranged the rooms so tightly that it was hard to breathe, with what felt like graves in place of bunk beds just to fit two extra beds. I didn't want to sleep in those, but there were so many mosquitoes outside the room that I had no alternative. I'd booked four days, then cancelled, paid cash for one night, and left the city.

The room was clean and the price reasonable, and I was surprised to find such a nice café inside Suite 18 Boutique Hotel. My stay was okay overall, and it's a good place for a simple visit. I'd stay at this hotel again if I return to Terengganu.

The receptionist, a Malay guy, was attentive and friendly, and the free welcome drink at the hidden cafe was a nice touch. The hot chocolate was yummy. There was a water dispenser and an iron in the corridor on every floor. The rooms also had a Young Living essential oil air diffuser, which gave the place a fresh feel. Pasar Payang is a short walk away, with plenty of cafes around, and I thought it was good value for money. Parking was limited, which is understandable in such a busy tourist area. I had a comfortable and worthwhile stay while visiting Kuala Terengganu.
