The Serai Cottage Transit Hotel

The receptionist was really friendly and helpful, but the room was a mess. The sheet hadn’t been changed and had dirt and blood stains, there was hair on the pillow, and something moldy was floating in the toilet bowl. It smelled bad and was very noisy. The chain lock didn’t work either, so I felt unsafe and didn’t sleep well.

It’s a simple, nice room, and fine if you just need somewhere to sleep for a night. They provide the basics: coffee, tea, a water boiler, toothbrush and paste, hot and cold water, and air-conditioning. There’s a shop a few steps away for basic things. You’ll need to drive a few minutes to find restaurants.

The place was simple and neat, and I had a good stay. The Wi-Fi didn’t reach the room, but the staff said they’d look into fixing it. I appreciated how much they cared about their guests.
