Transit Inn Kuala Terengganu

It was really noisy, and I’m upset about the room change. I’d booked and paid a few days ahead, but the staff switched us to a different room type without telling us. When I called to ask what had happened, all they said was, “sorry, the room is full, sis.” I mean, why give my room to someone else when I’d booked in advance?

Cleanliness was okay, but the room arrangement was a letdown. They usually promise a queen bed in a room with a window, yet I keep ending up with two single beds and no window.

It’s right in the city centre, close to a mosque, so expect an early wake-up call every morning. The bathroom detergent has a pretty strong smell, which could bother anyone who’s very sensitive to it.

A neat, clean little room with a clean bathroom, and it works well for one person or for sharing with a friend. There’s a USB port and a plug, too. The space is convenient.
