The room was quite spacious for one person, and the low price makes the lack of a kettle and toiletries understandable. But if you're Muslim, there aren't any halal restaurants nearby, so you'll need to drive about 2-3 Km. I booked on Agoda, then the person at the front desk said Agoda hadn't sent the money to their account. I waited around 3 hours for a room and only got it after I called Agoda Customer Service in front of them. If this was a way to get guests to pay extra, it's wrong. They should stop offering online bookings, or raise the price by about 30% if they can't make a profit otherwise.

I arrived at 6.45 pm after driving from Kota Bharu to Kuantan, but there was nobody at registration to help me. I waited until 7.30 pm and my calls went unanswered. I had booked a room, so this was a terrible experience. Luckily, I didn't lose my deposit. Thanks to OYO staff, the move to another hotel went smoothly 😘

We showed up after booking through Oyo and were told they had overbooked, with no rooms left. Oyo said there were no other rooms available in kuantan, so we were left to sort it out ourselves. We wasted money on a taxi there and then to another hotel. They didn't refund the taxi fare or offer a coupon for our next stay. Terrible service. I won't use the company again.

For a cheap place, the rooms are clean and more comfortable than at other places. Good value. If I have another event or business in Kuantan city, I'd definitely stay here again.
