Tropical Villa Kuantan

The host was quick to respond and attentive to everything we needed, which really impressed me. The place is clean and comfortable, and while renovations to improve and upgrade the facilities were underway, they didn’t affect our stay. It’s conveniently right in front of a food court. I’d recommend it for a short or long stay in Kuantan, 100% worth it.

There are a few restaurants nearby, and the convenience store and 24hr laundry are about 800m drive away. Don’t miss the curry mee at Planet Curry nearby! The room was big, the toilet super clean, and it had wifi and smart tv. Staff were helpful, and the self check-in and check-out machine was so easy to use. Loved everything about the stay. I’ll definitely come back.

There are food stalls just across from the villa, which made things very convenient. I booked for the Deepavali weekend, and the room for two with a king size bed was spacious. The owner was there when I checked in and uses a self check-in kiosk. It was easy enough to scan an ID or Passport, or enter the booking ID to retrieve the details and confirm check-in. A credit card is needed for the deposit and tourism tax. The owner is honest. I paid RM20 for the tourism tax, then he came to my room and returned it in cash. He explained that Booking.com had already collected the tax when I booked, but his system hadn’t updated. I’ll book here again on future visits.

The location makes this a handy stay, close to town and Teluk Cempedak, with a hawker centre just across the road, about a minute away on foot. It’s my second visit, and I’ve been impressed again by how clean it is and the value for money.
