The owner was super friendly. He even brought his scale from home so I could weigh my bag. We were happy staying at pan's homestay: it's in a good, quiet spot, not far from town. The room had both air conditioning and a fan, and we could use the kitchen and refill our drinking water.

You get what you pay for. The TV was very old and I didn't use it, but the bathroom was okay. Parking only fits three cars. The air conditioning and facilities were basic, but just nice.

The rooms are big, and the bathroom is a good size with hot water. Everything was clean inside and out, and the air conditioning worked well. The owner is responsible, and the price is reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend it. If you're in kuantan, must stay in Pan Homestay.

The owner goes into the house when nobody's around to turn off the air conditioning. If you're not okay with that, avoid this place. It may suit a big group trying to save money, but I wouldn't choose it for a vacation trip.
