Vivo Hotel

I booked through a third-party platform because the hotel’s official website charged even more, but the room still felt expensive for the limited facilities. Parking is first come, first served, with no proper guest parking, which was inconvenient. The hotel felt dirty and dusty, housekeeping only operates in the morning, and my bathroom was clogged. The receptionists were extremely rude. They were playing on their phones and watching TikTok even while attending to guests. When I asked to change rooms because of faulty facilities, they ignored the problem and said no rooms were available, although there were clearly many clean, empty rooms. I eventually had to speak to the manager over the phone because the staff on duty couldn’t handle even a small issue. The service and conditions don’t justify the price, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The peaceful surroundings and clean, nice room made my stay really enjoyable. The staff were super friendly, too. Thanks for making my trip comfortable.

The food was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Vivo Hotel thanks to the very friendly staff. I’d definitely recommend it and come back again.

I messaged to book a room with a single bed for one night, but when I arrived the staff said none were available. In the end, the morning-shift staff member KHAIRIL said I hadn’t paid the RM50 booking deposit, though he never mentioned it in our message conversation. I was forced to pay extra for a double room. I’ve stayed here for a few years, and this is the first time I’ve had this problem. The female night-shift staff member was gentle and polite 👍🏻. They also gave me a room with a broken lock. They charged RM3 tax for Kuantan and didn’t provide a receipt. I’m Malaysian, and after staying here for years, I was curious why I had to pay this tax. This was the first time this had happened, and the double room was like that 😌
