I’ve stayed here twice because it’s cheap and right in central Kuantan. Breakfast is decent, pretty tasty, and there’s a lot to choose from. The rooms were okay, though the old furniture smell was there. The facilities and interior could use an upgrade to bring the place back to business. Please get rid of the hallway carpets, they stink!

The location is really good, with anywhere less than 20 minutes away. But the hotel is very old and needs renovation. The room smelled, and a ceiling board was coming down.

It’s an old-fashioned hotel, but the stay is still affordable. The food was awesome and delicious. And despite being beside an abandoned apartment, there were no ghosts at all.

The price was the worst part. I’ve stayed in better places for half as much. The rooms were bad, the lift had an unpleasant strange smell, the air conditioning was faulty, and breakfast was horrible, with hardly any food, even though it didn’t start until 7:30. I really dislike giving one star. I’ve also heard the owners are very rich, which makes me think they don’t care how the hotel operates.

The reception workers were quick and efficient, the food was tasty, and shops are easy to get to from the hotel. But since my last visit, the condition has become far from accommodating. The room smelled damp, the air conditioning wasn’t cold, the bathtub was horrifyingly dirty with mold, and water dripped from the corroding ceiling. I couldn’t sleep because the pillows smelled.
