⭐ 1/5 After travelling a long way hoping to rest, I got a room that never cooled down because the air conditioner wasn't working properly. The female staff member at the front desk came to check it herself and could see the problem. She was handling everything, from looking for another available room to inspecting the unit, and we waited over an hour before we got a different room. Management should consider hiring more staff instead of leaving one person to do it all. When I reported the issue, the hotel said previous guests hadn't complained and maintenance had checked the unit without finding anything wrong. My refund request was rejected too. Agoda told me the hotel wouldn't acknowledge fault on its side. I wasn't asking for a full refund; a partial one would have been fair given the inconvenience. It was a frustrating, disappointing stay.

Good value for the price, and the staff are friendly. The location is great, with lots of interesting places nearby. Free parking is available, but there isn't much of it. The TV needs fixing because it glitches sometimes. The hot shower takes a bit of fiddling to balance, though it works well, and the elevator can be jumpy.

One of the nicest budget hotels I’ve found in Kuantan. The room matched the photos, which was a nice surprise, and it was clean, spacious and comfortable. The old TV didn't have many channels, and the toilet looked a little aged, but it was still clean and usable. There’s covered parking inside the hotel building, though spaces are limited and first come, first served. I was really satisfied with my recent stay.

The location is handy, within walking distance of the river walks and good restaurants less than 600 meters away. But the room's condition ruined the holiday mood. It smelled of mold, with stained bedsheets, floor cloth, bathroom glass and wall, plus a moldy pillow and a damaged floor. The cleanliness felt really unsafe.
