The room was fine for three people, but the shower's water pressure was extremely low, which made bathing frustrating. Check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM, yet verifying our booking and getting the access password took nearly an hour. We called the service person close to ten times before getting a response. It was the worst service I've experienced.

The room was pretty, cozy, and clean, and the location is right in town. Safety is strong since only the cardholder can enter. Parking is limited, but manageable. There was nobody at the counter at 2 am, which I understand. I had to find my room on my own.

This is a tech-driven homestay where everything runs through WhatsApp or apps. The amenities were fine, but the room insulation wasn't very good. Parking was scarce during peak season.

For under RM100 a night, Star Tree Homestay is acceptable for a short budget stay. I wouldn't choose it for longer-term comfort. Parking is a challenge in this residential area. Spots are very limited, so drivers may have to search or leave the car farther away. Check-in was frustrating too, as nobody was at the counter when I arrived. I had to call and WhatsApp the contact number. Management should pay closer attention between 3 PM and 5 PM, when many guests are checking in. It's okay for the price, but management and convenience need work.

The room was really clean and had a small fridge, which was nice. I did find fake lashes on the bedsheet, though 😭😭😭 Maybe they didn't come off during cleaning, so it's okay. The homestay is in a housing area, about 5 km from the city. I'll definitely stay here again ☺️
