The room was clean enough for the low price, and the location is good. It's a basic place, so ask for a room away from the road. One concern: when I booked through a third-party platform, the front desk didn't check whether I'd already paid the tourism tax and collected it again without asking. That seems like a serious accounting issue.

A dripping water noise went on through the night and was pretty irritating. Maybe it was condensation from the air conditioner falling onto the side roof beside my room.

For a budget hotel, it's comfortable, clean and nicely located. Padungan and the Waterfront park are less than half an hour away. There's also a water bottle filling station. The pillows looked clean, but had a strong sweat smell, so we covered them with other cloth to avoid touching them. They should replace what's inside and wash the covers.

The staff were friendly and really helpful, and the city location made it easy to walk to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. It was a pleasant stay for our family. Cleanliness could be better, though, as we found a few cockroaches. Some room equipment, like the water bucket and ironing board, also needs an upgrade.

This doesn't work for families. The caretaker won't let children stay overnight, and each room is limited to two people.
